cineform sound

Gotta be a redundant question. Cineform converted 5D video just great but no sound. And no, the native form from this camera will not drop to the timeline at least not for me. 64bit Pro 9 quad 4 with 4 GB RAM.

Put me in the remedial group. tanks.

Does the 5D shoot AC3 sound? If so, you may not have installed an AC3 decoder.

Thanks I'll give that a try. Video playsback with audio extenal to Vegas before conversion. I know 9e is suppose to play these native files but Vegas complains that I need a Quick Time plug-in to make it work. I haven't noticed others talking about it so I haven't purchased Quick Time..yet. But if I can get the sound, Cineform will work just fine. Cineform complains that it can't detect the frame rate or audio which is curious.

I'm just getting started obviously.
