Cinescore Theme Pack listing

FixitMad0 wrote on 3/30/2016, 10:11 AM
Hello,

I know this is not the correct forum, but since Sony closed the Cinescore forum I was hoping someone here could tell me the last current listings for the Cinescore Theme Packs that were released? The ones you could buy either in retail boxes or downloadable version.

I am trying to find a list somewhere and I could not find this. I know that Cinescore had a plug-in that worked within Vegas Pro so I was hoping I could try this but need some themepacks besides the ones that came with the retail boxed edition of Cinescore.

Thanks

I found a listing from the Wayback machine but that was only from 2008 and I believe this product line was discontinued in 2009? There is only a short listing of 10 items there. There are more Theme Packs I thought. I'm hoping someone printed a copy (pdf) of what Sony had released for this innovative product.

I purchased Cinescore right before it was discontinued (great timing). But, since none of the components are available from Sony anymore, I was curious why you needed a list of themepacks?

Also, I think Cinescore was only available as a 32bit application. Do you figure on getting it to work with one of the more recent 64bit version of Vegas?

Correct, the plug in was 32 bit only. The standalone version works fine under 64 bit operating systems.

Well, I can tell you the two I purchased. Maybe others can add theirs.

- Incredible Vistas: Visual and Emotional Panoramas

- Pass the Ring: The Wedding Soundtrack Library

PixelStuff,

Thanks.

jdw,

Since I am not a musician, I find that Cinescore fits the bill for me and I wanted to know what the other Theme Packs were released for this program so I could try to find them. Since I am not making videos for money ( I make videos for Family) I found this program to be just perfect. Even if it is only 32bit, I can still use Windows XP or Windows 7 x64 with Vegas Pro 9 that I have.

Incredible Vistas
Adrenalin Surge
The Ideal Vacation
Pass The Ring
plus I bought a whole bunch 'a la cart' when they decided to dump everything.

Hi!
I also purchsed several of the Cinescore theme packs and used them extensively, until that computer crashed and somehow I didn't save the theme packs in the other PC's. Now I have the software and only two themes that came with the software but I have lost all the others.
Is there any place to downlaod them from again? I still have my receipts.

I purchased all of the Cinescore themes and have them on my harddrives.

bdq,

Thanks for listing. I wonder if the A la Cart stuff was theme packs they were breaking apart or truly new theme packs.

Thanks.

I know you're trying to resurrect a long dead horse, but maybe you should consider switching to SonicFire Pro and be done with it. There are hundreds of discs available and if you wait for the big sales you can get them at good prices.

Some of the music is really good, if repetitive, so you have to watch what you're doing or it can get boring. Speaking of watching, I'm watching a BBC series right now that uses Soundstream music, so there is something for almost any need.

It would be nice if companies made stuff like this freely available when they drop them, but that is not the way most businesses work. One day it disappears and one assumes the companies simply dump everything in the basement, if not the trash, and walk away from their customers.

Jillian,

Actually I'm not trying to bring up the merits of Cinescore, I was simply asking if anyone had a complete list of the Theme's that SONY released for this program. Since SONY closed the Cinescore forums, I cannot check what was released if anything was listed in 2009.

I wanted to know what was released that is all.

Thanks.
