You could look at it the other way around too. How many users of Primatte would be interested in Vegas if their favorite plugins would work in it? Would they shell out mony for an NLE that costs as much as their plugin?

Other question. I searched their website but they seem to have dropped doing a standalone version. If they had one it would be the damn obvious answer to peoples needs here.
