"Clean uninstall"

I want to uninstall and reinstall Vegas Pro 8 on my XP 32 system.

How do I do a "Clean" uninstall compared to just running a normal uninstall?

From the top of the page, select Support > KnowledgeBase & type in "clean uninstall" in the search box and it will lead you to this result.

I did a complete uninstall of all SCS. Then reinstalled it. Only to find that playing Neo files (converted from my 5D2 MOV files) in Vegas 8 still crashes Vegas 8 instanstly and makes Vegas vanish from the screen...
