Clicking Next Chapter on DVD Remote

I made a menu-based DVD. As I understand iti, in order to have an index with different chapters in addition ot the main feature you have to insert the original media again in a sub-menu as many times as you want there to be a chapter, and set In and Out points for each chapter, for each re-inserted media.

I have also created chapters for the main feature by using the Insert Chapter function. I advance the chapters by clicking NEXT or --> on my remote control button for the DVD player. When I get to what should be the end of the main feature by clicking NEXT repeatedly it transfers me to the sub-menu section that I created. I don't want it to do that. I want it to stop or refuse to go any further once I get to the end of the main feature.

You don't need to do anywhere near as much work as you're doing. Add the original media file to the main page and add the chapter markers as you said you've done. Then right-mouse-button click on the link to the movie on the main page and choose "insert scene selection menu." You'll be all done except for moving things around the way you want them to look.
