Clip insertion sequence

I am running build 247 of MS11 Premium. When I select a group of clips in the explorer/folder view, and then drag them to the timeline, MS seems to place them in a somewhat random order. Is there a way I can get them onto the timeline as a group in alphabetical order, so that they are then in chronological order?

Right now I have to drag them to the timeline one at a time to get the order that I want.

Yes. If the clips are ordered sequentially in the window, highlight all the clips and click-drag the FIRST one to the timeline. It makes a difference which one you grab with the mouse.
