I recently upgraded to Vegas Pro 9 from Pro 8, and have installed the recent update as well. The footage I use is in the format of DV Avi made from MPEG Streamclip, and I never had a problem with them in Pro 8. In Pro 9 however every time I click on one of my clips, it loads the clip o nthe timeline at a glacial rate, so that I can barely get anything done. This happens with each clip I have, which are in length no more than 2-4 minutes and on average are about 800 mbs in size. I jsut bought my computer last year, so I don't know that it's a hardware issue.
Does anyone have any insight to this issue? I would be greatly appreciative.
