Clip trim properties

Hi,

Apologies if this question has already been asked.

Is it possible to tell how much has been trimmed off either end of a clip?

I edit animation files, and my usually workflow is to rough-render the animations, then edit them together then final render the animation clips.

This is because final rendering in some cases can take hours/frame so you don't want to spend days rendering the frames you've cut out in editing.

You can open the clip on the Trimmer and you'll be able to see the trimmed segment as well as the unused footage.

If you've created a sub-clip for your Project Media panel, you can right-click on it and select the option to Open Parent Media in Trimmer.

Vegas doesn't render the frames you've trimmed out. It ignores them completely.
