Clips for web and email

I wish to output several clips, with audio, whose final destination will be for display on the web and also will have to be sent vial email. (It may even have to go via a slow web hookup...56kps).
I am using Vegas 5. Please advise on the best settings: codec, size, audio etc. to use.
Original source of material was mainly VHS.

wmv for size and quality. Good luck emailing anything over 2 megs- if your files are bigger than this, you might want to load them on a server and just send a link via email.
