Closed caption

we cannot seem to record a 422 mxf file with closed caption from Sony Vegas pro 12 or 13.
We import the file fine it has cc do the edit (replace a bad commercial) and then render to xdcam hd422 mxf that file has closed caption according to sony vegas when i open it in the program but when I export it to xdcam (pdw-1500HD) and play it no cc. I have tried two different decks so don't think it's that and have tried to get a hold of sony creative software to no avail and was wondering if you have run across this problem before?

This is perhaps a silly question, but did you turn on CC on the TV?

Using VP 13, I have my closed captions all lined up in my project, but when I try to render the video to hd422 1920x1080-60i 50 mbps it doesn't allow me to check the "Save project markers in rendered media file". This option is grayed out and I can't seem to click on anything to activate it. I have been able to add marker and then i can select save projrct marker but it still doesn't imbed the closed caption in the hd file that export to xdcam.

Highlight clip go to scripting and select promote media closed captioning prior to rendering.
