Closed Caption export

Hey All,

So I watched the Giraffe on You Tube, but that seems to be very dated, as it does not give all the options listed here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/add_closed_captions_to_your_video_project

I did try to use the YUV option under the NTSC render, but a 9 second sample rendered out to over a Gig in file size!

According to the page I listed above, you can render to several different codecs, but every one of the has the "save markers" box greyed out.

Does anyone have an export workflow that gets the job done?

Thanks.

Closed captions can be embedded into MPEG formats such as the ones that were listed in the article. You should not need to save markers for CC. Closed captions for AVI files are only supported for Standard definition I believe.

If the format does not support CC, then a separate SCC file is created.
