Closed Captioning

With Vegas 17 which I was using my closed captioning would appear in my preview window when I checked the box marked "Closed Captioning CC1 Primary" but with V20 I am not seeing the captioning in the preview window after the caption markers have been placed on the timeline.

What am I missing here? Thanks

This is strange. The captioning didn't show up in my preview and I gave up for the day but when I restarted my computer and pulled up the project, the CC showed up on the preview. Must be a glitch of some sort I guess.
