I was capturing video through my video card with WDM drivers installed, when I clicked on Closed Captioning under Options in Sony Video Capture 6.0. Afterwards, every time I tried to use the WDM as a capture device, it said the device was unusable. I tried unchecking "Capture Still Images" in the preferences and that got me a step closer. After this, I unchecked the Closed Captioning. Now it is able to connect to the device, but I get a black screen, but I'm unable to capture video still. I've reinstalled Vegas many times, including the media manager.
