Codec question

Is the Sonic Foundry codec a DV25 codec? If I buy a hi quality capture card that does uncompressed or M-JPEG - would that footage be converted to DV25 using the Sonic codec?

yes...as long as that capture card doesn't use a hardware codec to encode/decode.
