I work hard on a blue screen project these days and i have some troubles with DV well known pixelisation artefacts on hard color transitions edges.

I have made a little try with Avid and Final cut and must say that these rough edges are very attenuated, due to chroma smoothing. Is there any way to use another codec like Avid one in Vegas to better handle this situation?

Otherwise, is there a filter inside Vegas to adress the problem?
