color balance and color curves RULZZZZZ

happy new year everyone
i did a huge video project by my standards for a tennis party
skits etc that was really funny---at least the 275 people at the party laughed
anyway, there was one scene that had shadows ---terrible lighting--my fault--but it was a shot of a dog
anyway, i showed the video 2 weeks ago and today i fooled around with it and color balance took out the shadows
i was jammed for time editing the project, anyway, i can't beleive the difference
AWESOME
so if anyone every has shadows--go to color balance---and you will be amazed

That's one of the most wonderful things I've learned in this forum, is using filters to improve the look and color-balance of my video. If you really want to get results quick and improve the look of your video 100% go through BillyBoy's tutorials at www.wideopenwest.com/tutorial-menu.htm. One of the most important things I've learned to do is calibrate my monitor (TV) correctly. Makes it much easier to judge the results you're getting.
