Color grading

I cannot get color grading activated. I go tools - video - color grading. No matter what I do I go to color grading and it states it is not active it is grayed out. I am using VP20.

It's working here just fine as it always has. What version of VP20 are you using? What are your computer specs specifically?

Click on an video event (select it), then Alt+G.

If I change it to media event it becomes active - Thanks for your suggestions. I will just have to use media event to make it work.

curious as to what else would you use color grading except media?
