Color grading creating video glitches?

T-B-edits wrote on 3/19/2022, 1:28 PM

I recently upgraded from Movie Studio 17 Platinum to Vegas Pro 19. When I color grade my footage in Vegas Pro some visual glitches appear for a few frames in my video. None of this is in the source videos. This did not occur in my edit until I color graded the footage.

Here is an example to clarify what is happening. 0:50 - 0:55 you'll see it happen twice on that shot, then a few more throughout the video.

The color grading isn't complex of the 4 settings that are offered with the basic color wheel. I only have gain pulled out to the bottom left. Each clip is slightly different but an example of how one is would be

R: 0.742

G: 1.610

B: 0.605

If anyone has delt with this before and has any recommendations, please let me know! I'm happy to answer a questions to further explain the settings of my project.

I think the render itself is faulty due to GPU

Should GPU Acceleration be turned off? My computer only gives me two options, Opitimal - Intel(R) Corporation (Intel(R) Iris(R) Plus Graphics or off

Turn off your GPU and try render using CPU, check if the glitch still appearing or not.

This worked, thank you very much!
