Hey guys.. please see this..
I can't do media FX color grading just by click on CG icon on event and change it from inside to media..
i have to first select media then do that process..
please see steps to reproduce it in this video..

@iEmby There is nothing to fix. There is no issue....What happened is that you did not select the media in the Project Media Window. VEGASPascal explained in detail.

@iEmby Yeah, i understand perfectly what was said.... However it's you who had a misunderstanding on how the feature works, But you are not explaining exactly how you are expecting it to work.

I think I've point out this flaw before as a beta tester :)
ok then guys..
just think clearly...
this will be more comfort if we just select an event and open its color grading tool and change event fx to media fx in CG window as i do in that clip....
and it should then directly apply on media of that selected event ..
difference..
If in CG window there is event FX it should apply on event and if it is on Media then it should apply on that event;s media.. VEGAS should have ability to shift to related media automatically.
because if we have to select media first then that option is just like a label to show us where is this CG applying, there is no other benefit of it then....

I think it's to prevent from an unwanted, destructive editing move if you accidentally made an adjustment on a wrong media level, which does happen to lot of editor/colorist. Even the senior one!
My suggestion is to add an overlay label on the preview window stating, "you're currently grading on media level".

but what i said, should also be implemented bcoz it will be very fast & easy.
