Generally copy & paste is pretty effective. Open up both projects simultaneously, each in their own separate Vegas window. Highlight everything on the timeline (Ctrl-A works well) of the second scene and copy. Switch to the first scene, move the cursor to the end, and paste.

This won't copy track header settings so you may have some fudging to do afterwards.
