Combining 59.9 fps video with 29.9 fps audio?

Hello,

I have been experimenting with Topaz ai software and an NTSC video. When I use the Dione Interlaced model I get a terrific result but the result is 59.9 fps with no audio. If I place the audio from the original clip in vegas below the 59.9 fps clip it is only half the proper length.

I'm unsure how to recombine these two files. I guess I could render the 59.9 fps video back to 29.9 fps and then combine. Is that the only way to proceed?

By the way, if I use a different model in Topaz that retains the audio and original frame rate I appear to generate artifacts that may be related to the fact that the video is interlaced. Much of the result looks good, but basically it isn't usable. I suppose I could de-interlace the video (not using Topaz) and then render with a different model? A pity, because the Dione model seems fantastic. Anyway, these issues of models are not for this forum, but if anyone can help me a bit I would be very grateful.

Set your project settings to the same fps of the topaz clip. It should automatically resample the audio to the correct length. Also, VEGAS 19+ has AI upscaling and black&white colorization now, something else to experiment with.
