Yes, it accepts any format that Vegas can import including .veg files, and it outputs to all formats that Vegas supports. It is an automation tool for Vegas. It is using Vegas to do all of the importing and rendering. What sets it apart from other batch rendering tools is that you can insert a processing step in between to actually process the files with Vegas (i.e., add a logo or network bug, convert to widescreen, insert a 16:9 background on 4:3 media, etc.) before rendering.

Thanks Johnny. So production assitant cannot add bug to m2v file, nor to render m2v file from m2t source?

No, it cannot add a bug to an m2v file because Vegas will not allow you to place an m2v file on the timeline. :(

Yes, it can produce an m2v file from m2t source file. Just use one of the MPEG2 Blu-ray templates to produce the m2v file.
