Well, several of the file formats let you go as low as 34Kbps. This would let you fit an hour of video into about 15MB. I don't think you'd want to watch much of this bitrate though. It's really horrid looking.

Since you ask in the DVD Architect forum i suspect you may want to eventually make DVDs of these videos. In this case you'd have to use MPEG-2 and the lowest bitrate you can get would be 192Kbps. An hour at this rate would need 85MB, but even at that size the image quality would be pretty stinky.

thank you for your advise, and your right i tried it and it was a bit stinky.
i think i'll stay with the MPEG-2 and experiment with the bit rate.once again thank you
