Confirm my Payment information??

Just got an email today from "news@mail.sonycreativesoftware.com", it said to
"confirm my payment information at the link below".

I've already put my CC numbers in when I pre-ordered Vegas 9.
I've already gotten a 'receipt' when I pre-ordered.

Is this for real or a spoofing email?
It sure as hell looks real - by why ask for my credit card numbers again??

Anyone else get this?

I got the same thing and questioned the same as you did. I followed the link, and it brought me to my account in Sony, so I was fine with that. Turns out that the pre-order didn't finalize the transaction and you need to do what it asks to finalize your purchase.

Right, it was a "pre-order" not a "pre-payment."

Same here -- only strange thing was the invoice showed two lines of 1 copy of Vegas 9 upgrade. Almost like 2 copies were ordered - only billed for one copy and talked to customer service - lady there agreed it looked a bit "odd" and was going to check it out for me - have not heard back yet though.
