I've been having an interesting set of problems lately. Whenever I open Sony Vegas, it disables the sound in my Youtube player, should I happen to have a video playing in the background at the same time. When I try to refresh the page, it briefly tells me that the Youtube player has crashed, before refreshing itself again and resuming as usual.
Around the same time this started happening, my upload speed to Youtube started tanking dramatically. It would be fine for about 2% of the upload before suddenly telling me I had 181 minutes left. NETGEAR Genie is telling me that my upload is getting "chopped up" when this happens, with very brief pips of around 181k before going completely dead for a second or two. Here's the kicker: this only happens after I've opened Sony Vegas. If I reset the computer and try uploading without opening the program, everything is fine.
The latter issue used to happen before, but not nearly as often, and it also affected my download speed during those periods as well. Again, a reset fixed it, so I thought it was just a problem with my machine until I started noticing the correlation. Does anybody have even a clue what's happening here?
