Conforming a file to view in preview window at its intended speed

I am filming with the Sony A7iii and when I film at 60fps, the video is automatically conformed at 24fps as specified on camera, then when using the preview window in Vegas to cut, the video plays at it's intended speed (24fps), I have recently added the Atomos Ninja V to my filming, so when I film at 60fps, the video is not conformed coming out of the Ninja V making it impossible for me to use the Vegas pro preview window to cut. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but wouldn't you set your Project properties to 24 fps if that's what you want it to Preview at? I know when you drop a 60fps project on the timeline but set your Project Properties 30 fps, then I believe it drops half the frames, but you can still do slow motion with the original 60 fps if you want to do that on other portions of the video. I don't see why Vegas couldn't "conform" 60 fps to 24 but maybe I'm missing something.
