I've recently upgraded from 8.0c to 9.0e. Although I upgraded for a number of the new features, I was intrigued by the release notes for 9.0d - "Added support for AVCHD Lite video."
I have a Panasonic FZ38 (FZ35 in US) which records AVCHD Lite (720p, 25 fps, frames doubled to 50fps to meet Blu Ray spec, as I understand it).
Now, Vegas Pro 8 could handle this format OK except for having to disable resampling on the timeline, and it appears that I still have to do this in Vegas Pro 9, so I'm confused as to what support has been added to 9.0d? Seems exactly the same to me!
Anyone use this format and can shed any light on what has changed?
