Not only does Gene come up with an interesting concept that sparks a lot of interest and a tutorial on the VASST site, he gets top billing with the tutorial on the Digital Producer site.

Wow, I am truly flattered and amazed. Especially since I purchased Vegas6 on June 6th of this year. My only prior experience with video editing software has been Pinnacle Studio 9 (which I haven't used much) and TMPGenc DVD Author. If I had known all this beforehand, I would have redone the original clip and corrected the spelling for "Memoriam". 8^)

I guess us 60 year olds can still learn new tricks (although realistically, I think the interest has a lot to do with the subject matter).

Yeah? Well, IMHO, that is the ONLY reason to make movies . . not how advanced the NLE is. You've got a light hand and an understanding of timing, "weight" and relevance. You've got 60 years of experience and experiences to relate. PLUS understanding . .. let's see more.

Doc, you stay with telling stories, using relevant subject matter, and I'll keep watching - PERIOD!
