Contour Shuttle Pro - I want control!

Does anyone know if there's a way of having just 'CTRL' as one of the shortcut keys of the Shuttle Pro? I can't figure out how to do this and it'd be damn useful. Also, is there a way of having a key which is the equivalent of the right mouse button?

Yes, you can do this. For "Computer Response" pick "Press Modifier Keys" and pick the "Control" button.

I don't think there is a "Right Click" function, but if you want to pop context menus, maybe you can get it to send the "Context Menu" command (the Menu key on your keyboard).

Really appreciate that Dennis - you've been a great help. While you're here, I don't suppose there's any chance of adding some further shortcut keys to V4? For example, I'd love to be able to quickly mute events (something I do all the time for A/Bing). Currently, the quickest shortcut is to right click on the event then hit H then M.

There's a few commands like they that aren't available as shortcuts and and it'd be really helpful if they were added. In fact, I've said elsewhere in another thread that it would also be nice if we had the option to add a lot more toolbar commands than are currently available - event-based stuff. Being able to completely control the way you work is a good thing...

In an ideal world, we'd be able to completely re-define all the shortcuts to our own preferences - though I have to say most of them are on the money, for me at least. I guess it's somethink to think about for Vegas 5...
