I contacted a local production house that will be converting two Sony HDVS HDCAM tapes and moving the footage onto a external H/D.

I will be editing this footage with Sony Vegas 8.0C The production house asked me if I wanted the footage converted to uncompressed QuickTime files or mpeg files.

I have no idea which way to go. If any one has any insight on this please let me know which format works best with Sony Vegas 8.0C.
