Converting subtitles to closed caption for Windows media

I have a DVD veg project with optional subtitles and everything works fine.
What I’d like to do now is render this veg as a Windows Media with closed captioning.
If I’m reading the manual correctly, I need URL’s, not text regions. If I’m right is there an easy way to convert the regions to URL’s?

You need to use Text command markers for Windows Media. Details are in the Vegas online manual. Find it quickly in the index tab by typing in 'markers', select 'inserting command markers'. Click on 'insert a command marker.

I don't think there's a way to easily convert regions in a Vegas project to command markers that have a Text type. Scripting perhaps? I'll have to check whether creating command markers and setting the type is exposed to scripting.

Thanks, let me know what you find ASAP, and if someone sharper than I could write the script also.
