Converting to .m2t?

I have a video project that requires for me to convert my .m2t files to quicktime so I can bring them into AE and Shake and whatnot and do VFX on them, but it doesn't allow for me to convert back to .m2t. Is there a way to convert back to m2t, some program or something? Because I keep having problems rendering out the final project when the shots are put into the timeline as anything else (i.e. m2p)

This is a perfect application for one of the Cineform versions like Neo HDV. To do this with m2t clips would involve successive mpeg renders which would really degrade the video quality.

Back to your original question, Gearshift can do batch conversions like this. As long as Vegas can read the input format and write the output format, Gearshift can do whatever conversion you would like. I'd still recommend using Cineform though.
