Yeah, installed it, too. Think, them are very useful. But now I can't find the way to recall those tools. I simply can't start them. Can't find them as scripts nor is there a program to run after installation.

Any hints how to use (to run) the Veggie Tools?

Thanks Marco

Ggrrh, I must have been blind. I did not take a look into the Veggie Tools program folder, just looked into the Vegas Scripts folder. So I found them now. And love it!

Randall... If Your out there.. Thanks! Great Tools...AND is a great Addition to the Scripting Library... I have often thought it would be great to Have a render queue like(Almost) AE.. Now we do.. although My Fav Is going to be the Time Bandit... Perhaps They will be more fully incorporated In Vegas 6 ! But anyway.. very VERYwell Done... I

I just played a little with CaptureCutter. It seems like a great tool.

It also implies that you ought to be able to write script that would take a client's log sheet in something like a comma delimited format and suck it into Vegas for capture. It should be able to name the clips based on the client's notes.

Sound reasonable?

Randall, very nice tools. Thanks for sharing them.

Incidentally, anyone know how many other NLEs have scripting?
taliesin wrote on 7/3/2004, 12:15 AM
The one I used some time ago before Vegas - MovieShop based on a DraCo workstation (Amiga CPU) had a similar function, but it was more macro like. It was much easier to program - anyone could do it - but it was much less flexible and didn't provide that much functions.

Nowaday I don't know any NLE which does scripting in the way Vegas does it. No doubt - this is one of the most powerful Vegas feature.

I think you could use Applescript with FCP, don't know for certain though.
Anyway Darryl, a million thanx, I do a huge number of simple jobs and the batch render script will same me a VAST amount of effort. By tomorrow I'll have 15 projects to encode, need I say more!
Just one tiny request, an option to shut the PC down when it's done. Not a show stopper by any means.
