I am trying to COPY an event in one instance of Vegas Audio
an PASTE it in another instance of Vegas Audio. It seems
that my COPY places nothing on the clipboard, therefore the
PASTE command is not available on the Edit menu.
What is the correct way to COPY and PASTE?
FWIW, Copy and Paste between two open VV projects works here under
Win2k, from either a right click context menu, or the from the Edit
menu ... so it may not be the program causing the behavior you are
experiencing.
KAC ...

Thank you for your reply. I can now copy and paste an event in VA
2.0b, but the pasted event will not play.
That is, when I paste an event right next to another event on the
same track and try to playback both of them, the original event will
play, but not the pasted event. It looks like the event is pasted,
but does not act like it. I have checked the properties of the
pasted event, it is not muted. When I open this event in my external
Audio editor, the event plays normally. Is this a bug in VA 2.0b, or
do I have something configured incorrectly?

Have you tried tech support? This is VERY strange. I've never seen
such a thing except in 2.0b pre-release when, if I opened an event in
an external editor and then returned to Vegas, the audio would not
play until I brought another application to the foreground and then
brought Vegas back...
