Copy/paste events between projects?

Hi Folks. Has anyone figured out how to copy a event or clip from one project then paste it into another? Sure would be handy... I'll bet there's some sort of painful workaround, but I thought I'd see what you guys might have come up with first.

You have to have both projects open simultaneously. Start Vegas twice, open both projects, one in each Vegas window. Copy from one and paste in the other without closing the first one.

Note that this wasn't possible in Vegas Studio versions 1 & 2 (named Video Factory back then). It wouldn't let you open another Vegas window. I'm not sure if even newer versions allow this or not. You'll have to try it and see.
