Copy text attributes and sync cursor grey out

I tried to copy attributes of a text to paste the attribute into another text
I don't seem able to copy text attributes without copying the text.
Has some one done this before without copying the text.

The Sync cursor is grey out in the text generator.
Is this normal or it's a bug?

I don't think you can. Hopefully, it will be fixed in VV4.

There are many different ways to accomplish things in this program, so it is possible someone else has figured out a way. If so, please tell how. I just finished a trade show video where I could have used this feature. For those of you who would say "advanced planning" my answer is "client changed mind" which = mucho work for me and in IMHO should have been easy.

GG is right (as usual). You'll find that saving the preset even saves the text currently displayed. That's why it says "Sample Text" on the Vegas presets.
(Why do you Americans put capital letters everywhere? It's ugly and it does nobody any good.)
