I am color correcting a two camera shoot. Is there a way to copy a frame from 1 camera and then use that as clipboard image in the split screen preview to compare with the 2nd camera which I will be color correcting?
I have tried control - c copying 1 fram of camera 1 but it doesnt show upin the split screen preview. I selected clipboard. Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think the easiest way is to take a snapshot in the preview window (at good or best quality)

Then put the picture on the top track and stretch it out for the length of time you need.

Then using track motion, position it to one half of the preview window and let the video you are comparing it to run on the other half of the preview window.

>Display the frame you want to compare to and hit the Copy Snapshot to Clipboard button on the top of the preview window.

>Set the SPlit Screen View in preview to Clipboard and hit the Split Screen view button.

>Drag a rectangle any size or position in the preview and it will show you the clipboard image within the rectangle and the rest of the frame will be what you are currently displaying.
