Copying events to other projects

Having created a text event and a color gradiant from the media generator just the way I want it (lot of customizing) I want to use them in another project. How do I get them to the other project? I can't even copy and paste them from the timeline to the other project.

1) Open a second instance of Vegas
2) Select the event you want to copy. Press Ctrl+C
3) Click on the timeline in the new instance of Vegas
4) Paste the copied event on the new timeline. Press Ctrl+V

Really, that's all there is to it.

Yes it is easy but both projects need to be open at the same time.

Yep simple, worked a treat, thanks both. Should have thought to open another instance, some apps just don't let you do that.
