You can dispute it with the following language:

Please release this copyright claim as I have acquired this audio content from MAGIX (a Storyblocks API Partner) legitimately. Please find attached the End User License Agreement between Storyblocks and MAGIX end users that outlines my license to use this material. Please reach out to my Storyblocks Account Manager, Shelby Wolford, at shelby@storyblocks.com if you have any questions.

And should you need to attach the EULA, just find file EULA in VEGAS Pro Program Files folder, then upload it to your google drive or dropbox etc... then share the link in the YouTube message.

I have tested it on one of my videos and the dispute release process done very quickly.

You are incredible! I thank you greatly. I will try this. Do you know what happens if it is denied for what every reason? Will I get a strike?

Thank you again!! Rik

set wrote on 2/16/2022, 3:29 PM

So far my experience is, not going to get a channel strike.

Not every music in the VEGAS Hub Content will trigger copyright strike. I have use so many of them in my videos, and most of the times are OK. - If you see in detail in YouTube Studio, the system will also tells you 'not a copyright strike' - usually just a notice that you won't be able to monetize it.

Also, if you upload the EULA file to Google Drive (you can find in C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 19.0 ), try open the EULA file from there, and you able to read it 'easier' (rather than opening it via Notepad). Read section part 'End User License Agreement - Storyblocks'. You have a strong right to use it as pointed in point A and C3.

I submitted my claim. Nervous, but we'll see. I'm happy to let you know the outcome :-)

Rik-Stoddard wrote on 2/16/2022, 6:27 PM

It worked! YouTube reversed and took away the claim. Wish I could buy you a drink :-)

This just happened to me. I just contested it and put in the text @set listed above so we'll see what happens...

jetdv wrote on 2/19/2022, 3:56 PM

And it's been released! I have a whole series using this one audio piece. I'm wondering if I'll have to do this on every one.

Rik-Stoddard wrote on 2/19/2022, 4:42 PM

I had the 1 tune on 2 YouTube accounts. I had to do it for both accounts. This is the first time I have had to do this since 19 came out. If this is going to happen often, I'll be really pissed! Magix needs to do something about it I would think. Good luck to you!! - Rik

I have a whole series of videos that uses this audio. So far I've uploaded 2 and it's done it on both. I anticipate at least 50 in this series (only 4 done so far). On the second one I mentioned that and asked if there's something I can do so I don't have to do this every time in the dispute box. I got no answer to the question but the claim was dropped again.

Interestingly, this is song is 4.5 minutes long. I'm using 18 seconds at the front of the video from the beginning of the song and about 8 seconds at the end of the video from the end of the song. The 18 seconds is being flagged every time. The 10 seconds is not. I wonder if there's a time limit on it being flagged? Perhaps I need to shorten the intro? Or I guess I could try 18 seconds out of the middle of the song to see if that makes a difference (I think I'll try this on the next one!)

I just hate the thought of having to dispute this every time I upload a new one. I've also thought about just switching to another song but this one just fits so well.
