Correct Scripts/Ext Paths for 9.0 (32/64 bit) ?

Latest FAQ I downloaded did not look to be updated yet for 9.0 ?

Back in the 8.0/8.1 days, different directories were used to store Scripts and Extensions based off of the program, either an 8.0 directory or 8.1 directory were created and read.

Now, its looking to me like both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vegas are searching the same paths for Scripts and Extensions ?

For example - most of our custom stuff is loaded from:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\8.0\Application Extensions
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\8.0\Script Menu
and
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\8.1\Application Extensions
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\8.1\Script Menu

So now, I'm confused where to put the 9.0 stuff for the 64-bit versions of Vegas (I loaded the 32-bit into 9.0 folders, but the 64-bit Vegas seems to read there too ? )

Vegas Pro 8.1 had several differences for scripting which was very unfortunate and a huge headache for script writers who supplied installers. Luckily Sony made things consistent again with 9.0. Here are the locations that Vegas Pro 9.0 looks in (both 32-bit & 64-bit):

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Vegas Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\

Your personal extensions should go in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Vegas Application Extensions\

Commercial extensions should install themselves into one of the other appropriate places based on the version(s) they support.

Hope this helps.
