Coughing sputering and crashing

I only got 20 tracks up of 24/48. Soloing the vocals and zooming in so it takes up about 1/2 the screen starting PAST the last split, its sputtering. There ARE quite a few numbers of takes underneath this one but no edits where the skips are

I think I've had the same. I discovered the offending track was the kickdrum. I moved a couple of plugins from kick drum track to kick drum buss and it was solved.

Especially if you're using UAD1 plugs, check the order... and try changing to see.

Seems to be a problem with certain plugs on tracks... I dunno... confusing!
