Could it be a codecs war?

Hi all!
Everything was OK with my V9c.
The clips that I edited with it, had no problems when I opened Premiere Elements 7!
But since I upgraded to V9d, PE7 does not like anymore the files that I edited with V9d!
Could this diagnosis be true? How to cure it!
Or can there be any other reason for it?
Where all the codecs found in my notebook? How can I reach them?
The files that I mention are m2t's that came from HC9E.

Thanks in advance.

Can you explain further --- Vegas and PE7 are both Non Linear Editors and as such do not alter the source files in any way. Are you saying the V9d DOES something to your source materia (your M2T files) so that PE7 has problems with the same files? This doesn't make sense to me. Am I missing your point? Or are you talking about files you edit and render in Vegas and then use later in PE7 ??
