Could use your help

Edited: You may want to read the entry below, but be advised that Ron Bridgegroom at Showstoppers was very diligent in helping to resolve this problem, even on New Years Day. It appears to be rather critical as to which version of Quicktime you have on your computer. I installed v6.5.2 (rather than 6.5) and the problem appears to have disappeared

I am having a problem with an animation from ShowstoppersFX and would like some help in trying to find the source. If any of you have this program and have the animation pyro011 which is one of the pyrotechnic animations (basically a ring of fire circle tranition) could you try this?

I have the version which has .mov animations which they sent to me for use with Vegas.

When I place this transition (animation) on the time line and then walk through it frame by frame it would appear that frame #36 (of 60 - it is a two second animation) is blank. However if I open the animation in QT and walk through it there is no blank frame. I have communicated with the manufacturer and they cannot duplicate the problem. I sent them a rendered copy of my time line problem and they admit that it is there, they just don't know why. It apparently does not happen when they use their file on a Vegas time line. It sounds like the file on their DVD that they sent me is defective BUT it is confusing (at least to me) why it only shows up in Vegas and not in QT. They have offered to send me a copy of their file but they are on a dialup connection (?) and state that it would take a couple of hours to upload it.(?). I have not found any of their pther animations to have this problem - yet.

Thanks
