For those that need on-screen timers for things like sporting events, I have created a simple VEG file that demonstrates the basic techniques. The VEG file shows how to create on-screen clocks that can start at any time you wish; be placed anywhere on the screen; displayed in any precision; and can count either up or down. It also shows how to "freeze" the final clock time.
