Sometimes when mastering audio for a shoot I like to advise my client afterwards just how much work had to be done to fix their live audio glitches. One simple way to do this is a screenshot of the timeline with audio edits.
I'd like to be able to give them a # -- the # of audio-edits I had to perform on their project.
The simplest way I can do this is count the # of adjustment points, and assuming each adjustment was adjusted back, divide by 4 to get a close estimate. (4 points to bring down/up and back).
Does anyone have/know-of a script to count the # of envelope points on a track, or perhaps # of selected envelope points?
- I can easily use the GUI and "envelope selection" to select the points -- but Vegas doesn't show the # selected
- I can easily add or remove points using Vegasaur, but I don't see a tool there that just reports the # that are selected :(
- I can write this one easy enough (especially with some of @Ed T's recent videos.. thanks Ed!) -- but was wondering if I'm missing some obvious thing that already exists
