cpu optimization for vegas pro

Andrew-Rusten wrote on 2/2/2019, 5:43 AM

I have been using Vegas Pro for a few months now, and I have an i7-7700k processor in my system, but every time I render a standard 1080p video, the usage for my cpu almost immediately goes to 70-80-90%, and temperatures can pass 85+ degrees Celsius. To help keep the processor running for another year or two, is there anyway I can improve Vegas to not hit my cpu as hard? I am not running a water cooling system but hope to get one soon.

I don't get exactly where you are afraid of.

My processor ( from laptop) renders long times 4K projects on 100% without any problem.
Yess the machine gets warm but that's where they are build for with all kind of coolers, sometimes depending on the manufacturer.
I can help it by rendering with help of my GPU's, all stated in my signature.
See here the diference between the two rendermethodes

1. Only with CPU

2. With NVENC help of the Nvidia
