crashing

My system was working very well until it started crashing regularly! Sometimes I get
a general protection fault error message, and some times it justs siezes up.

It is a win. sys with 800 speed and 128 ram and a ibm desk star hd. If any one has any tweeky suggestions

Hey,
Can you give more info? What are you doing when it crashes? How does it crash? does it just sieze up, does it tell you to stop running the program? does it fall on the floor?
Are you working with audio or video or both?

What was the last thing you installed before it started crashing?Try removing it.
Something installed probably incorrectly in the registry.
