Seriously, no, I haven't had this problem. Reversing footage compressed with an intra-frame codec like Cineform or DV is much "easier" (less computationally intensive) than footage compressed with an inter-frame codec like AVCHD or MPEG-2. Either way it shouldn't be crashing. What type of footage are you trying to reverse.
