Crashing/Glitching When Adding Text?

Software Running: Vegas Pro 15.0

I have been having problem when I add text to my edits. Every time I click "Insert Text Media" my Vegas freezes, and then crashes. Please help me :(

There’s been plenty of anecdotal Vegas Users experiences, similar to yours. Crashing when adding a Text Event. Please determine what version of Microsoft’s .Net Framework you’re running. I’ve had to update to version 4.7 .Net Framework.

I have looked into that, my version is 4.7 .Net Framework. Still I get lag and crashes. :-(
