create Graphics?

Can you create graphics with Vegas? For example, say a series of 3 red rectangles on the screen, on top of the video.

I see the media generator has a lot to get you started and that they are adjustable, but can you create your own? For example, the Letterhead has 2 rectangles and can be adjusted into any number of variations, but if you can't find a preset one already built or a preset that can be adjusted into what you want, can you generate your own from scratch?

Thanks!

using tracks, track motion, pan/crop, generated media, beizur curves, etc. you can do quite a bit. you just need some time to learn how & impliment it.

Don't limit yourself to one track. If the Letterhead gets you part way there use it. Then add another track and use Color Gradient in Rectangle mode to make the 3rd box. Alternately you could use solid colors and add the Cookie Cutter and cut squares, rectangles, circles, etc. out of the solid. You just need to layer multiple tracks similar to how Photoshop uses Layers to achieve the same thing.

Don't forget that you can do these in a separate project and then drop the project as a nested veg file into your main project.
